Andre and Alice met rather unexpectedly in Ubud, the heart of Mama Bali.

As the story goes, they fell deeply in love.

Matilda Bali is the lovechild of Andre and Alice, a blending of the finest Balinese silversmiths, perfectly imperfect natural gemstones presented exactly as Mother Earth intended, and a wish to be able to share just a touch of Balinese magic with the rest of the world.

All Matilda Bali pieces are handmade by expert Balinese artisans, using techniques passed down from their ancestors. Every item uses only 925 sterling silver, 18ct gold or 14ct rose gold. All gemstones used are natural and high quality, sourced directly from the earth we walk on and transformed into unique, beautiful, long-lasting and tarnish-proof jewellery just waiting to find their new home in the world.
